OpenSim on CentOS 7

Post by Antonino Amedeo La Mattina » Mon Oct 10, 2022 7:55 am

Hi all,
is there anyone with experience about installation of OpenSim on non-Ubuntu Linux systems?
I am trying to install OpenSim 4.3 from source code on a CentOS 7 system. I already installed Cmake-gui version 3.24.2, Clang 3.4.2, Swig 4.0.2 and (I suppose) all the equivalent dependencies for RHEL systems (in the GitHub page they are listed only for Ubuntu).
I set up the dependencies Superbuild installation, but the make command failed (make: *** [all] Error 2).
I am quite a newbie in Linux, and never actually used OpenSim; we are trying to make a Linux installation because we will soon need to run a massive number of simulations, and will likely need a HPC cluster to do so.
Thank you in advance.
Nino
