problem with scaling

Post by jing liu » Sun Feb 26, 2023 8:34 am

Hi seniors,

I'm having a problem with scaling. We used the gait2354 model and established the.XML file of the tag set according to our own laboratory. I took these files into the scale-settings. I used use measurements in the scaling factors section. I took weights for the acromion, anterior superior iliac ridge, sacrum, ankle, heel and foot. But there were some problems with the resulting scaling model.

The scaled model has a short torso, long lower limbs, and hyperextended knees. I tried to drag the points on the generic model according to the experimental marks, but it was clear that the corrected points were not in the same position as the actual points placed in our lab.

I don't know where the setting is wrong, and I hope to get your guidance.Thank you very much.
