Hello, seniors.
I ran into some problems with scaling, and the result was terrible. The scaled model has a short torso, long legs and extended knees, and most of the markers are not on the model.
These are some of the parameters I set during the scaling process.
The obvious mistake I can see is the scale factor of the shank. Since our subjects are teenagers, the scaling factor cannot be greater than one. I used cortex to derive the distance between two markers as the length of the thigh and shank, but I did not know how to measure the length of the thigh and shank on the general model, so I did not manually set the scale factor.
Could you help me see what's wrong? If possible, I would like to learn how to measure the distance between any two points on the general model so that I can manually adjust the scaling factor.Thank you very much!
