Joint Reaction

Post by daniel jaramillo » Mon Oct 05, 2009 8:42 am

Hi

I have been trying to determine JointReaction loads on the hip adding an additional force to a single right legged model. I also ran the same procedure using a bipedal model, taking into account that the external loads are only being applied on the right leg. I am obtaining pretty much the same curve trends but different force and moment peaks for both cases. The bipedal model is pretty much a replication of the right legged model on the left side, taking into account muscle insertion definitions change.

I would appreciate it if somebody would explain to me why this is happening.

Thanks,

Daniel
