Influence of a new body to kinematics

Post by Ann Piel » Fri Dec 15, 2023 2:25 pm

Hello,
I have created a new body and added it to model2392. It should only represent a weight that you put on the model's leg. I would like to investigate how this affects the muscle forces etc.
My code runs, but I get the following error message:

[error] Mesh C:\Users\Annika\Documents\OpenSim\4.4\Models\Modified\testobject.stl not connected to model...ignoring

Nevertheless, the generated model is displayed correctly when I open it in OpenSim. So the weight of the additional body is considered in the total weight of the model and also the STL of the weight is displayed normally.

I use the provided mot file (from tutorial 1 for model 2392) to run the model.
However, when evaluating the muscle force, no difference is visible compared to without weight.

Is the error due to the fact that I have to edit the mot file further so that the new body is taken into account?
Is it due to the error message displayed? What should I change?

I would be grateful for any advice
