Angular Speed

Post by Edilson Borba » Tue Feb 27, 2024 10:23 am

Hello,

I'm trying collect the angular speed, but I'm having difficulty identifying these values in the output. I would like to know what is Pelvis_x and Pelvis_Ox data, for example.

Thanks in advance

Hi, the output of BodyKinematics consists of the position and orientation of each body: https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8 ... 0of%20mass.
Pelvis_x is the position of pelvis mass center and Pelvis_Ox is its orientation (O stands for Orientation)

Thank you for your help

In this case, in the global velocity document, the Pelvis_x and Pelvis_Ox also appear, so one of them is velocity and the other is angular velocity?

Yes, angular velocity of body segment orientation, linear velocity of mass center position. Some comments are provided in the files, below headers, e.g.:
