Hi could someone provide some information on what the tolerance and stiffness parameters are in the joint definition section of the .osim file i.e. <tolerance> 0.00000001 </tolerance>
<stiffness> 0.00000000 </stiffness>

I am interested in providing some 'laxity' is the defined joints and guess these parameters have something to do with this.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

Hi Paul,

Sorry if this has misled you but these attributes are obsolete. They were inherited from SIMM (where many of our models originated) but are unused in OpenSim and will be deprecated starting next release.
