OpenSim Reserch Challenge

Post by Nasara Sualiha Abdul-Lateef » Wed Jul 03, 2024 6:56 pm

Dear OpenSim Community,

I am currently working on a gait analysis project involving the collection of data using IMUs, processing the data with MATLAB to obtain quaternions, and subsequently using OpenSim to perform inverse kinematics. However, I am encountering an issue where my musculoskeletal model exhibits a staggering effect each time I run my analysis.

To address this, I have attempted to filter the IMU data using both the Madgwick filter and a complementary filter. Despite these efforts, I am still unable to achieve a stable and accurate representation of the gait cycle.

I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this issue. I have tried to attached videos of the musculoskeletal model exhibiting the staggering effect for reference but I keep getting unsupported format error.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,
Nasara Sualiha
