Effect of locking DOFs

Post by pauline neerpelt » Tue Jul 09, 2024 1:05 am

Hi, I'm trying to mimic an experimental in vivo study in which intraarticular measurements in the wrist joint were collected during active wrist flexion-extension movements.
Since the fingers are not actively participating in this movement, is it acceptable to lock the DOFs of the finger joints in the model, or is this bad practice?
Thank you in advance!
