Saving Motion File from Non-Final Iterations in Tracking Simulation

Post by Alexander Lagrant » Wed Jul 24, 2024 10:13 am

Hello, I'm wondering if there is any way to save the motion file associated with an iteration from a tracking simulation? I am hoping to save the motion file for every 100 or so iterations, so that way I can check if a simulation is going in the right direction before it reaches a solution (which takes about two days). If anyone has any idea how to do this, let me know! Thanks for any help.

Hi Alexander,

If you are referring to extracting intermediate iterations from Moco, this is a known bug that we haven't yet resolved. I tried to fix this recently, but there seems to be some issues on IPOPT's end.

You can follow the linked issue to stay updated, but there's no timeline on when this might be fixed.

Best,
Nick
