Most Suitable Model - Cervical/thoracic spine and shoulder IMU driven inverse kinematics

Post by Alexander Bush » Sat Dec 28, 2024 12:28 pm

Hi,
I'm a relatively new user of opensim and am hoping to use the platform for ergonomics research. I am particularly interested in deriving joint angles from IMU driven inverse kinematics - mostly limited to the spine and shoulders although if I can get enough budget to buy additional IMUs then whole upper limbs. I have trialled several models with some executing the basic functions of inverse kinematics better than others but can anybody advise which may be the most suitable for this application?
Thanks in advance for your help.
