IMUDataConversion in MATLAB Issue with metadata header for OpenSense

Post by Sarah Erickson » Mon Mar 03, 2025 7:55 am

Hi!

I am working to convert 7 XSens IMUs to .sto files to use in OpenSense. I collected data with 7/8 IMUs that are used in the OpenSense Example Files except the torso IMU. I also made sure to export my XSens IMU data to follow the same format as the OpenSense Example. I converted the myIMUMappings.xml file to align with my IMU naming conventions and removed the torso IMU naming section. When I run the IMUDataConversion.m file with my own IMU data, I keep getting this same error. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I am able to run the IMUDataConversion.m file on MATLAB with the OpenSense Example data. I am not sure why this same issue comes up when I run the IMUDataConversion.m file with my own data.

Thanks!
