Optimal motion control using OpenSim API

Hi,
I’m interested in the optimal motion control using OpenSim API. In the OpenSim developer’s guide, chapter 4.2 ‘creating an optimization’ contains an example of the optimization-based muscle control to achieve an object. In this example, to maximize the forward velocity of the forearm/hand segment mass center is the objective function.
There may be a lot of objective functions according to simulation purposes. One popular thing is to generate a jump motion to maximize the jumping height. Especially this optimal motion control is useful when we don’t have any motion capture data of a subject and if we want to generate it.
So, I hope to learn from your experiences of using OpenSim API for optimal motion control. I would appreciate very much if someone can let me know some hints about it.
Best regards and thanks in advance,
Moonki
