Are there any reasons why OpenSim would just crash during forward dynamics with contact between the patella and femur? I submitted a bug report, but haven't heard anything on whether this is being looked at or what.

The bug report has been updated with tracking info and suggestions to workaround this issue which is specific to the geometry .obj files in your model.

Hi Ayman,

I simplified my geometry, but the contact only works sometimes. Between the femur and patella, it works (kind of, there is a lot of penetration). However, between the femur and tibia, a forward dynamics simulation with no muscles activated should just produce a falling motion, but my tibia/femur contact does nothing. Any idea why or should I submit another bug report?
