OpenSim on Linux - 64bit?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get OpenSim running on a 64 bit Linux cluster, but in order to get my c++ program working with the OpenSim 2.0.2 Linux libraries I have to compile it as a 32 bit program.

The problem is I also want my program to link with existing 64 bit libraries on the cluster. So what I'm asking is can someone please provide 64 bit versions of the pre-compiled OpenSim Linux libraries?

If so then you would be helping me out a lot, as well as other people who might be stuck in a similar situation :)

Cheers

Marc

Hi Marc,

The only reason we don't have those is because one of the libraries that we use (SimTKlapack) was not available in 64 bit. We're working on this with the developers of the library and the issue should be resolved within a couple of weeks, so that the next release would have 64 bit linux libraries.

Cheers,

Hi, sorry to be annoying and clutter the forum. I was just wondering how the progress of the next release is coming along? I believe the next release will include 64 bit Linux libraries? I am very keen to get this :)
