Arm26 : static optimization failure

Post by Maha Abbassi » Fri Aug 06, 2010 8:02 am

Hello,

I'm trying to run the static optimization using arm26.

I modified the limits of flexion (from [0..130] to [0..170]) by editing the .osim file.
But I noticed that when the flexion angle of the elbow gets over 145°, the static optimization tool fails either we're using the flv relation or not.
Please take a look at the curves plotted with OpenSim: http://www.demoandmemo.net/wikiStage/St ... onProblem/

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Maha.
