Hi,

is there a reference for all the muscle fixation points on the bones in OpenSim. Where all this data is from?

Thanks,

Martin

Hi,

Well, it depends on which model you are using, if you use the once supplied with OpenSim they are based on several publications (muscles and joints). The best thing is that you have references to publications inside the osim file.

Best way is to open the osim file in a text editor (Notepad++ is perfect for xml files), find the node publications and there you have specification and publicaitons

You can also access this information from the gui, open the model, right click on the models name in the Navigator (were you see Bodies, Joints, Constraints ) right click and choose "Info" and there you have Model Name, Model File and at the bottom References.

Hope that helps
cheers
