I am also very interested in this question.
If it is possible to install the Mac-Version, that can be found in the 'download'-Link, than I would be really happy to have installation instructions. Do I need something special (software) to install it?
Thank you!

Hi,

The current source distribution does not compile out of the box on Mac OS 10.8 (because of the change in the name of compiler that's hard coded to gcc in our CMake files included with the source). We're working on fixing it but in the meantime you may try to use the 10.6 development system on 10.8 if that is available and let us know how it goes.

Best regards,
-Ayman
