Hi there!

Can anyone, please, tell me if there is a way to get angular velocities and accelerations from OpenSim?If so, how can it be done??

Hi Marta -

Yes, there is a way. You have to run BodyKinematics/Kinematics Analyses in Analyze tool or include them to your xml file. Output files Kinematics_u.sto and Kineamtics_dudt.sto list angular velocities and angular accelerations of coordinates, respectively. BodyKinematics_vel_global.sto and BodyKinematics_acc_globar.sto report velocities and accelerations with respect to a global reference frame. For example in BodyKinematics, pelvis_Oy refers to roration of pelvis about y-axis.
