IK - 'Coordinate data for trial'

Post by Samuel Dyson » Sun Aug 28, 2011 6:46 pm

Hi,

I've been looking at the Gait2354_Simbody example specifically the IK. I would like to know how the coordinate file (containing grf's only, all other columns = 0) was created as the number of frames in this file is less than the number of frames for the force file. Is there a standard method used to take the grf's file and create this coordinate file?

Hi Sam,

The grf.mot file is not needed for IK (just to visualize ground reaction forces along with the motion). You can do away with this by "previewing motion data" using the grf.mot file and then synchronizing the motions.
