Hi All,
I am trying to use Opensim to compute muscles force and direction for data comes from Santos (DHM) at the University of Iowa /CCAD. The data file contains marker poistions for Gait cycle in TRC Format. I tried to open this file for inverse kinematic using Bothlegs example but Opensim did not. Any help in this matter.

Hi Sultan,

First I'd try to load the raw data into OpenSim using the File->Preview Motion Data option. If this looks correct (marker trajectories look good) then you can move to the next step, and IK.

The IK tool assumes that the markers you're loading from trc do exist in the model (they match by name), if not then you'll have to add them first to the model. Normally you'd do this during scaling. I'd suggest you consult the user guide and support page below for details regarding using Scale and IK tools and please let us know if you continue to have questions.
