When trying to apply a moment generated by damping at a joint using a bushing force, should I specify a damping ratio or an angular damping coefficient. If it is a damping coefficient, should the units be in radians, degrees or cycles?
Thank you,
Heather

Re: Bushing force Units
Hi Heather,
Thanks for reporting the issue. We've updated the documentation as follows to help resolve the ambiguity:
rotational_stiffness: Stiffness parameters resisting relative rotation (Nm/rad).
translational_stiffness: Stiffness parameters resisting relative translation (N/m). rotational_damping: Damping parameters resisting relative angular velocity. (Nm/(rad/s)).
translational_damping: Damping parameters resisting relative translational velocity. (N/(m/s)".
This will appear in the documentation of the next release.
Best regards,
-Ayman
