My computer is having trouble with installing Opensim 3.0. It will be much easier for me to just install a older version of OpenSim than to update my computer.
I'm wondering if there is one?

What specific problem(s) do you have with version 3.0? and what's your platform? I run OpenSim regularly on a windows XP machine that's 9 yrs old without problems. In general on the downloads page you'll find a link "List all previous releases" that will allow you to download/install an earlier version, but it would be good to get to the bottom of the problem with version 3.0 since many new features were introduced in it that may not be available in earlier releases.

I have a linux platform. My friend told me that I'm having trouble because my system is too old. I don't want to upgrade it because I'm afraid that it will make my other softwares not run well. I just installed the 2.4 version with the help of my friend. But I'm having hard time with running it, because I'm not good at using the terminal command lines to do stuff. Anyway, I decided to use windows platform for this.
