GUI not loading motion file

Post by Vaughn Friesen » Tue Jun 18, 2013 1:29 pm

I'm doing some static optimization in a posture project, and trying to optimize the muscle forces needed for the model to stand. The simulation is done in code, which prints a .mot file that I'm trying to load in the GUI. The model has muscles and is based on gait2354.

The problem is, when I load the model and motion file I can't play back the motion. Either the playback controls are grayed out or the buttons just don't do anything. But when I open the motion with a model without muscles, it works fine. The .mot file seems to include all the muscle activations and fiber lengths and everything.

Any ideas what the problem might be? I attached a zip file with the two models and the motion data just in case it helps.

Hi,

I had no problem loading your model with muscles and the motion into the 3.1 beta release posted on simtk.org and also had no problem playing back the motion. Please try in this version and let me know so we can find out if the problem has been fixed or if there're machine specific issues.

Best regards,
-Ayman

It's working in 3.1. Thanks!
