CMC and Forward Simulations

Post by Sarah Wohlman » Thu Sep 19, 2013 8:41 am

Hi,

I am able to run computed muscle control simulations through the command line but when I use the resulting controls file in a forward simulation, I do not get the tracked kinematics as my output. Any thoughts on why?

Thanks,

Sarah

I may be wrong because I do not normally use Forward Dynamics but I do believe you need to also include your GRF forces in order to achieve the tracked kinematics. Otherwise the simulation will fall through the floor.

Let me know if this helps

Thanks for the advice. I'm not actually doing gait simulations so there are no GRFs.
