How does one change the length of a body segment, such as the humerus, manually within the GUI or by script editing?

Hi Lauren,

You just have to use the manual scaling in the scale tool (Scale Factor tab)

(If you don't have any marker at the model, the option Adjust model markers has to be unchecked)

hope it helps

Hi All
I am struggling with similar problem. I need to change leg length and simulate motion for different subjects. I used BothLegs.osim to create OneLeg.osim model.
From lab I got information about position of knee and heel for each subject. I would like create matrix with scale factors and re-scale model for each subject. I know how to manually scale model using scale factors, but I don't know how get information about original lengths of each body segment. Do you have any suggestion?
Regards
Kamil

I am struggling with the same problem. In order to know what factors I should manually scale by, don't I need to know the original lengths of the body segments. Did you ever figure out a solution to this problem? Thanks,

William
