CoordinateActuator forces reference frame

Post by Erik Dijkstra » Wed Mar 05, 2014 7:00 am

Hi,

When running the Inverse Dynamics Tool one gets the forces/moments of the CoordinateActuators. I tried to find in which reference frame these forces/moments are expressed but could not find this in the documentation. My guess would be the parent body of the respective joint on which the CoordinateActuator acts...

I am particularly interested in the forces and moments that are applied to the pelvis segment. Are these forces and moments expressed in the global reference frame (ground)?

Best regards,
Erik
