Muscle edit in OpenSim

Post by Jack Zhao » Wed Dec 10, 2014 8:00 pm

Dear All:
Could I check with you that:
Why after I installed OpenSim 3.2 64bit I find there is no muscle edit module and dialog (it indeed can be seen in OpenSim User guide!) ?

Urgent for project! Thank you very much!

Thanks & Regards,
Jack

Hi Jack,

The functionality is still there but the entry point from the menu has been removed since the same code handles more than Muscles. To edit attributes of a Muscle you select it from the navigator view and the "Properties" panel will show these attributes for viewing/editing. If you want to edit the GeometryPath (wrapping, etc.) then select the "..." button next to the GeompetryPath entry in the Properties panel. This approach allows us to edit Muscles, PathSprings and all objects that contain a GeometryPath using the same code which is more extensible and robust.

Hope this helps and please let us know if you have any questions.

Best regards,
-Ayman
