Hello, I'm a engineering student. I'm trying to view the plots from a model that I simulated. I got a .c3d file and I turned it into a .trc an .mot file.
When I solve inverse kinematics, the results are fine and the plots are really good, but the problem is when I try to solve the inverse dymanics, the plots are a disaster.
I don't know if the problem is from .mot file or from the way that I solve the inverse dynamics.
I'll explain the way that I've been doing it following.
Firstly, I click on tools and then on inverse dynamics. In the inverse dynamics windows for the imput I click on loaded motion --> Results( results from inverse kinematics).
In external loads, I click on the pencil icon and I load the .mot file in the label of force data file. I don't load any file in kinematics for external loads.
I save it like a .xml file and I click on run button. Then I load the files inverse_dynamics.sto in plot window, but the results are a disaster.
Are there any mistakes in the way that I'm solving the inverse dynamics? or Is the problem from the .mot file?
Thanks,
Ezequiel.

Re: Inverse Dynamics
Hi Ezequiel-
Are you adding a force in the 'Specify Forces/Torques for Model' sections?
Sounds like you are loading a force file (.mot) but the you need to click 'Add..' and define the forces and which bodies they are acting on.
cheers,
