units on reserve forces

Post by Brandon Brown » Sat Apr 11, 2015 2:14 am

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to clarify something on what reserve forces are. If a reserve force is for a translational degree of freedom, does it represent force in Newtons? And also, if a reserve force is for a rotational degree of freedom, does it represent torque in Nm?

Thanks for any help.

Brandon

Yes :) Translation is N, rotation is Nm.
