Hi,
Is there currently any data bases and/or information regarding the maximum thresholds of independent muscles? Any related information regarding this topic would be appreciated.
Thank you
D.

Sorry, can you explain what you mean by 'Muscular Thresholds'? Are you talking about maximum force production? Im not sure what you are asking for.

Hi James, yes referring to maximum force production.
Thanks

Okay, that makes more sense.
The maximum isometric force can be estimated from a muscle physiological cross sectional area (PCSA) and the specific tension of muscle.
This paper may be a good start;

Note that the maximum isometric force is not the maximum force a muscle can produce due to the force-velocity relationship.
Cheers,
