Static Optimization - Reserves increasing linearly with time

Hello all,
I am using an upper body model to determine muscle forces during a throwing motion using static optimization. I was using CMC but I think I've got all the problems ironed out on the CMC end, everything seems to be working fine.
With static optimization, I noticed a problem that seems to be very unusual regarding the reserve actuators. It seems that some of them are increasing linearly with time such that reserve_actuator = t. The reserve actuator is actually equal to whatever time the simulation is on. This seems unrealistic. I've searched the forum for instances of this happening and I can't find anything unless I overlooked something.
Any help would be appreciated.
