Heel strike transient

Post by Bruce de Jongh » Mon Jul 27, 2015 1:16 am

To Whom it may concern

I am doing an analysis on patients who are performing level ground walking. There is a small spike at the beginning of the grf data known as the heel strike transient. Is it common practice to filter out the heel strike transient as it has an effect on the moment at the knee, or does one perform analyses using the grf data with the heel strike transient?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Bruce de Jongh
