hello,
I have been performing an inverse kinematics and I need to know how to choose the marker weight for the bodies. do someone know how to do that?

This is actually a much tougher question than it seems on the surface. I am not aware of any studies which explicitly look at this, but the values you use will certainly affect the results of inverse kinematics.

I would start with using the weights used in the tutorials, these are similar to what we use in our lab as well. You will need to adjust this to account for any differences you have in marker sets. Then run IK and visualize the results... do they look reasonable?

This becomes an iterative process of adjusting marker weights and running IK.

thanks a lot, Colin.
So if I understand quite well, I need to do some iterative process during inverse kinematics in order to find the better marker weight?
thanks for your help.
