marker weight

Hello,
in order to see what is the influence of marker weight, I Have done an Inverse kinematics with a simple model. I choose different marker weight values but I have the same result. I Want to exactly know what is the role of marker weight in the least square problem?
I ask that because of the same result I obtained. I think I should have different solutions.

Hi,

For simpler movements, you probably track the trajectory well enough. If the movements are more complex, and your data have some uncertainty, you can use these weights to assign more confident in some markers based on your observations. You can consult the user guide:
