Hello all,
I am trying to better understand the flow of files from tool to tool.
From my understanding, Scaling -> IK -> ID -> RRA -> CMC -> Analysis
My questions:
What files from RRA will be I be using during the CMC tool?
Is it better to use the RRA produce files or the CMC given files?
What is the difference between subject01_RRA_states.sto and subject01_RRA_Kinematics… ?
Are the RRA_Controls the same thing as Actuator Constraints?
For the Additional force set files in CMC would I want to use the subject01_RRA_Actuation… file?
In general, for RRA and.or CMC will I ever want to adjust the Integrator settings?
Thanks in advance!
KC

Re: Output files from RRA to be used in other tools
The most important thing is to use the same additional files used by RRA in CMC (reserve actuators, external forces, constrains, integration settings). RRA is not a nessesary step but it improves the incosistancies between model and measurements by altering the model.
Yes you should use the RRA files.
The kinematics (q, u, udot) contain the time series of the generalized coordinates. While the state contains the time series of the differential equations' variables (generalized coordinates/speeds, muscle length, muscle activations).
Controls are the inputs to the muscles. Constraints constraint the possible values of the actuators.
As I said you use the same integration settings.
