How to reference figures including an OpenSim model

Post by dieter heinrich » Fri Nov 18, 2016 12:57 am

Hi,

I would like to ask a question which might be easy to answer. How do I reference figures including an OpenSim model in presentations and publications and is it mandatory to include the OpenSim logo in the figure?

Thanks very much
Dieter

Hi Dieter,

I usually cite the Delp et al. (2007) IEEE paper for this purpose (e.g. "Figure 1. Musculoskeletal model visualized using OpenSim software (Delp et al., 2007)."), and have seen others doing the same. You could also provide a link to the model on SimTk, if one is available.
