Pelvic moment

Hi all,

I have calculated joint moment using inverse dynamics.
There were pelvis_tilt,lift, and rotation_moment in output file of inverse dynamics.
For example, + of pelvis_tilt_moment indicates pelvis anterior tilt moment or posterior tilt moment?
Similarly, what is lift and rotation?
Please teach me.

Sincerely yours,

Haru

You can use the "Coordinates" panel in the GUI (http://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:80 ... +and+Poses) to answer your question by noting how the model changes as you move the sliders.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for your answer.
Are polarities in output files of inverse kinematics and kinetics same?

Yes, the sense of a model's coordinate is consistent. The OpenSim\Models directory contains "OutputReference" files for several models (the results from running OpenSim Tools). You might find it useful to look through some of these results. There are also three tutorials and several examples here: http://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:80 ... +Tutorials.
