Muscle Types

Post by Connor Stapp » Fri Jun 09, 2017 8:30 am

When looking through some of the models that come with OpenSim, I noticed that there are different types of muscle that can be define (ex. Schutte1993Muscle, Delp1990Muscle, Millard2012EquilibriumMuscle, and Thelen2003Muscle). How do these types of muscles differ and in what circumstances are each one most useful?

There are only two muscle models that are currently supported; Thelen and Millard type muscles. There is documentation on the muscle models here; http://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:80 ... blications
