Changing visibility of muscles

Post by Jesse Wheeler » Wed Jan 16, 2008 10:18 am

When I import a model of a monkey arm that was built in SIMM 4.0, the muscles appear as very thin dotted lines which are extremely difficult to see. I can't seem to change the displayed muscle thickness by modifying the jnt and msl files. The model was built with units of millimeters. Should this make a difference? What can I do to make the muscles thicker in the display without the use of SIMM 4.0?

Dear Jesse,

Version 1.1.1 of OpenSim (already posted on the download page) offers this capability. If you go to Edit->Preferences ...
A dialog will come up that allows you to change a few things about the GUI including
"Muscle Display Radius". The new value becomes effective next time you load a model.

Good luck,
-Ayman
