Model is not able to scale

Post by Valentina Gallego » Wed May 02, 2018 9:59 am

Hello, I'm trying to scale a model that has an original height of about 165cm to one about 150cm so I have 14 markers (just on legs and torso) and I have the static.trc file but when I go and do the scaling it doesn't change the height of the model it just put it in a semi-squating position, I also tried to add a static.mot file so that the position was a straight standing person and it kind of broke (it's taking more than 15 minutes to scale and still no solution). Any idea of how to fix this problem?
Thanks

it looks like the bodies are not being scaled (2nd tab in scale tool). What are the markers you are using for this?

"What are the markers you are using for this?"
The pinks are the markers placed on the model, and the blue ones are the the ones ins the static.trc Im using for scaling but when i go to the scale tool in the Static Pose Weights tab all of them say From File -- NOT FOUND!

it sounds like the marker names from the TRC file does not match the marker names in the osim model. can you confirm that they are named the same?
