Hip Center Manual Scaling

Post by Jasvir Bahl » Fri Aug 17, 2018 1:39 am

Hi,

I am trying to scale the pelvis of the Gait2392 model and I have a 'known' HJC location in pelvis frame from CT I have computed externally. Can I use the difference in hip joint center locations between the 2392 and my model to apply manual scale factors for the pelvis of 2392? When I try this the HJC location (X,Y,Z) is correct in the pelvis frame but the muscle scaling don't look quite right anymore given some protrude the femur. What's the best approach to scaling the pelvis in order to achieve the same HJC estimated from CT?

Thanks
Jasvir
