How to define pre-stress in a constant torsional ankle spring?

Post by Rajbeer Anand » Tue Oct 30, 2018 3:27 am

Dear All,

Greetings for the day!!

I have defined a constant torsional ankle spring for the human musculoskeletal system in the "Simulation-Based Design to Reduce Metabolic Cost" example in the OpenSim software. I want to know how to find its pre-stress value and how to change that value.

Thank you

Regards,
Rajbeer

You could try an ExpressionBasedBushingForce (https://simtk.org/api_docs/opensim/api_ ... Force.html) or ExpressionBasedCoordinateForce (https://simtk.org/api_docs/opensim/api_ ... Force.html).
