Are all wrapping surfaces C2-continuous?

Post by Peter Bishop » Sat Nov 03, 2018 3:12 am

Hello all,
just wondering if somebody could clarify for me whether all or some of the in-built wrapping surfaces (cylinder, ellipsoid, torus) are C2-continuous? I am looking at undertaking some gradient-based optimization, but this will only work if all the components of my model are continuous to the second derivative. I can't seem to find any information about this in the documentation.

Many thanks!

Peter Bishop.
