_force.sto and inverse_dynamics.sto files are not associated with the model

Post by Isotta Rigoni » Wed Nov 21, 2018 2:50 am

Good morning,
I have scaled my model, obtained an inverse_dynamics.sto file (using a .mot file) and then obtained a StaticOptimization_force.sto files. When I open my model and try to Load a motion for visual inspection (File_Load motion_ StaticOptimization_force.sto), it tells me that the motion has not been associated with the current model. I am confused as the model is the one I used to obtain the .sto file. Do you have any idea of what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you!

These files do not contain the kinematics of the model so they can't be loaded as motion files (.mot). They are .sto files and contain the generalized forces (ID) and muscle forces that you calculated. You can plot these results with the plot tool.
