Update model

Post by Byron Freire » Sun Dec 16, 2018 4:07 pm

Hi!
I am working with the latest version of OpenSim, however, I need to update the model I was using from version 3.3 to the current one.
The model used was Vasavada Neck Model 1.6, how can I update it to use it in the new version? Do you have a tutorial to update other models?
In the attachment you see the errors that occur.
Thanks.

how can I update it to use it in the new version?
The error indicates that one of the muscles is named "supmult-C4/5-C2". The "/" character is no longer permitted in the names of components. You can change the name by opening the model file in a text editor. Please also see the following resources for notes on upgrading models to 4.0:
- The "Upgrade Notes for OpenSim 4.0" page in the Confluence documentation, "Upgrading your model files" section: https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8 ... penSim+4.0
- CHANGELOG.md on GitHub: https://github.com/opensim-org/opensim- ... ANGELOG.md
