how to set nuscle excitation to run ForwardTool using matlab scripts

i want to run ForwardTool using matlab scripts,

1.but i do not know how to set or input controlfile which including muscle excitation.(i have generated a control file)
i used following line,but it does not be useful:
tool.setControlsFileName('tugOfWar_controls1.sto');

2.i do not how to set muscle activation using matlab scripts .(i do not have a control file,but i get muscle activation by matlab script Step-by-step)
