Is Kistler a type-2 force platform？

Hello
I have a problem with the type of Kistler. \MOtoNMS v2.2\SetupFiles\AcquisitionInterface\Laboratories\GU.xml says Kistler is a type-2 force platform, but http://www.projects.science.uu.nl/umpm/c3dformat_ug.pdf says Kistler is a type-3 force platform.
