Forward tool

Post by Alex Priamikov » Wed Oct 09, 2013 7:56 am

Good evening,

I have question, if my muscle activations that used for simulations over exceed borders [0,1] will opensim suppress them to this borders during simulations?

Best,
Alex

Hi Alex,
In short, yes. OpenSIm will only calculate activations between 0-1. So if you input experimentally collected excitations that are greater than 1, the optimisers treat it as the upper bound (1).

Hi James,

But if activations are lower that 0, will it also suppress?

Best,
Alex

Alex,
activation cannot be negative.
