What differentiates the committe from other standard bodies

Many people who hear about the committee ask about its nature and think of it as a standards committee.

In the last meeting, we had a discussion on what distinguishes us from the many standard bodies that publish guidelines of best practices.

Here are the main elements people mentioned with one word:
1. Wide Breadth / Diversity
2. The need as expressed by larger entities
3. Openness and exposure of the different opinions we have
